01Who we are
March is a product of Altaer Agency, LLC, a Colorado company ("we"). These terms apply to anyone who visits marchlocal.com or signs in to March (Documents, Brand and Design), whether during a demo, a trial or a paid plan ("you").
02Using March
You may use March for your organization's own public-service work. People sign in with their organization's work account, and your organization decides who has access. Keep your sign-in safe, and tell us right away at [email protected] if you think an account has been misused.
Please don't: copy or resell March, share access with people outside your organization, try to take apart its code or get around its sign-in and protections, use it or what you learn about how it works to build a competing product, collect information from it with bots, or use it for anything unlawful.
03Your content
Your documents, text, images, logos and designs stay yours. March checks and fixes documents in your own browser; they are not uploaded to us, unless you choose to attach one to a problem report (we delete it within 30 days). You give us permission to host and show the things you save in March, such as designs and brand files, only so we can run March for you.
How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy. We never sell your content or use it for advertising.
04What belongs to March
March, including its software, designs, methods and the March name and logo, belongs to Altaer Agency, LLC. Using March doesn't transfer any of it to you. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve March, with thanks and without payment.
05Paid plans
Plans are priced per year, by tool and team size, plus a one-time setup in which we build your March site, connect your sign-in, apply your brand and train your team. The Order Form lists what you bought, the price and the term.
Plans renew each year unless either side says otherwise at least 30 days before the end of the term. Because we know public budgets are set each year, a plan can end at the end of a fiscal year if the money for it isn't approved. The March Subscription Agreement has the full details, and it is the agreement that applies to a paid plan.
06What March does, and doesn't
March is built to make documents meet the accessibility standards public organizations follow (WCAG 2.1 AA and PDF/UA), and we stand behind it: if March doesn't work as described, we fix it, or end the affected plan and refund what you prepaid for the rest of the term.
Accessibility also needs people. March shows your staff what it changed and what still needs them, such as a short description of each picture, and your organization decides what to publish. Using a tool on its own doesn't make every document or website meet the law, so your team's review stays part of the process.
07Limits
Apart from the promise above, March is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, neither side is responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, and our total responsibility is limited to what your organization paid for March in the 12 months before a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, unless your organization's own state law must apply.
08Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell the organizations using March before important changes take effect. For a paid plan, changes apply at its next renewal.
